หลายประเทศในประชาคมโลกเริ่มทยอยประกาศบังคับใช้กฎหมายแบนสื่อโซเชียลมีเดียเด็กและเยาวชน ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในช่วงอายุที่ต่ำกว่า 14-16 ปี เพื่อทวงคืนชีวิตในวัยเด็กและปกป้องสุขภาพจิตของเด็กๆ จากภาวะซึมเศร้าและการเสพติดอัลกอริทึมของโซเชียลมีเดีย รวมถึงปัญหาอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ที่รุนแรงขึ้น โดยมาตรการนี้ไม่ใช่เพียงแค่การห้ามเล่นโซเชียลมีเดีย แต่คือการบีบให้ยักษ์ใหญ่ Big Tech ทั้งหลายต้องรับผิดชอบต่ออนาคตของเยาวชนอย่างจริงจัง
